Fujifilm has just announced X-A7, the latest model of its X series of mirrorless cameras. It’s a lightweight, compact camera aimed at beginners, priced $700 along with a kit lens. But despite the low price and being an entry-level model, it still has a lot to offer to those who are just starting out.

Fujifilm X-A7 features a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor (1.5x crop factor). It offers a native sensitivity range from ISO 200-12800, expandable to ISO 100-51200. It shoots UHD 4K video at up to 30fps, and Full HD recording at up to 60fps. As for the continuous shooting rate, this camera shoots 6 fps. The sensor also affords a 117-area hybrid AF system that uses both phase-detection and contrast-detection methods for quick and precise AF.

The camera has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so you can wirelessly share photos, or remotely control the camera from your smartphone. As for the design, Fujifilm A-X7 is sleek and compact, and pretty lightweight, too. Camera body with the battery and a memory card weighs only 320 g. Like most entry-level cameras, the Fujifilm X-A7 retails with a kit lens: XC 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ. Let’s check out the full specs of both: Imaging Exposure Control Video Focus Viewfinder and Monitor Flash Interface Environmental Physical Kit Lens Fujifilm X-A7 is ready for preorders and you can get it in four colors: Silver, Dark Silver, Mint Green and Camel.
